Ophelia Grace Gordon 
Ophelia Grace was born on January 1st, 1872 in Vermillionville, La Salle County, Illinois. Ophelia Grace's father was Samuel Gordon and her mother was Susan Ann McDowell. Her paternal grandparents were James Gordon and Mary Bratton; her maternal grandparents were James M. McDowell and Eliza Daniels. She had five brothers and six sisters, named George R., Leroy, Levy, John Harrison, Wiley James, Mary Eliza, Rosa Jane, Sarah Rebecca, Ella Belle, Emma May and Francis Marion. She was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 66 in 1938.-
