Anna Catherina was born on June 22nd, 1751 in Lynn Township, Lehigh or Allemangel, Northampton, Pennsylvania. Anna Catherina's father was Andreas Volck and her mother was Maria Margaretha Romig. Her paternal grandparents were Andreas Volck and Anna Catharina Meckel; her maternal grandparents were Johann Adam Romich and Agnes Margaretha Bernhardt. She had six brothers and seven sisters, named Heinrich, Johannes, Johan Adam, Johann Georg, Johannes, Andreas, Anna Maria, Infant Daughter, Christina, Maria Magdalena, Maria Margaretha, Johanna and Infant Daughter. She was the fifth oldest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 63 in 1814.General Notes
