John Douglas 
John was born in 1459 in Morton, Dumfrieshire, Scotland. John's father was James Douglas and his mother was Joan Stewart of Scotland. His paternal grandparents were James Douglas and Elizabeth Gifford; his maternal grandparents were James I Stewart of Scotland and Joan Beaufort. He had a sister named Janet. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 53 in 1512 in Scotland.-
