Louisiana Smiley

Louisiana was born in 1836 in Meade Co., Kentucky.¹   Louisiana's father was William Smiley and her mother was Unknown Wife. She had three brothers named Seth W., Abner and Edward Franklin.  She was the second youngest of the four children. She had ten half-brothers and a half-sister, named George, John, Harrison Thomas, Elijah, Benjamin, Sylvester, Samuel M., James N. 'Jim', Charles L., Robert P. and Sarah Jane.  She died after 1880.¹ 

‌Louisiana and Barnett A. were married in a religious ceremony on December 11th, 1850 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.¹   They had a daughter named Martha A..
