Abner Smiley

Abner was born about 1835 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.¹   Abner's father was William Smiley and his mother was Unknown Wife. He had two brothers and a sister, named Seth W., Edward Franklin and Louisiana.  He was the second oldest of the four children. He had ten half-brothers and a half-sister, named George, John, Harrison Thomas, Elijah, Benjamin, Sylvester, Samuel M., James N. 'Jim', Charles L., Robert P. and Sarah Jane.  He died after 1865.¹ 

‌Abner and Parthenia were married in a religious ceremony on June 12th, 1857.¹   They had a son and a daughter, named Seth William and Emma D..
