King Solomon Skaggs 
King Solomon was born on August 12th, 1848 in Taylor Co., Kentucky.1 King Solomon's father was Solomon Skaggs and his mother was Martha Prather. His paternal grandparents were William David Skaggs and Margaret Hoover. He had two brothers and five sisters, named William Solomon, Moses Riley, Susan Margaret, Sarah, Cynthia Jane, Mahala and Martha. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 72 on October 20th, 1920 in Taylor Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
