William David Skaggs 
William David was born in 1788 in Virginia.1 William David's father is David Skaggs and his mother is Margaraet Cannon. His paternal grandfather was Henry Skaggs and his paternal grandmother is Mary Thompson. He had four brothers named Henry, David,Jr., Richard and John Cannon. He was the oldest of the five children.
