George Harris Prestridge 
George Harris was born on December 28th, 1855 in Sumpter Co., Alabama.1 George Harris' father was Benjamin Bagley Prestridge and his mother was Sarah Adline Williams. His paternal grandparents were Joseph N. Prestridge and Elizabeth D. Bagley. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Benjamine Babley, Jr., Charles Henry, Joseph Gideon, Sarah Elizabeth and Nancy Ann. He was the oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named James Burton, William Ashmund and Ellen Jane. He died at the age of 58 on May 31st, 1914 in Alvarado, Johnson Co., Texas.1 -
