Frances Porter

Frances was born on June 4th, 1770 in Orange Co., Virginia.¹   Frances' father is Abner Porter and her mother is Hanna Ingram.  Her paternal grandfather was Benjamin Porter and her paternal grandmother is Mary Ann Campbell; her maternal grandparents are John Ingram and Elizabeth Hawkins. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Alexander, Abner, Alexander, William, George, Benjamin F., Samuel S., Elizabeth Hawkins, Lucy, Maria, Nancy C. and Verlinda Alexander.  She is the oldest of the thirteen children.
