His paternal grandparents are Jefferson Roman Johnson and Mary Jane Pearce; his maternal grandparents were Joseph P. Basham and Mary Jane Morris. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Joseph Jolette, O. A. Montgomery, Fredrick Clinton, Thomas Alvin, J. C., Living, Sibyl Ruth, Velma Velette, Runney Lenis, Iola Lucille, Baby (Twin), Living and Living. He died about 1925 in Eastland Co., Texas. He was buried in Brown Cem., Eastland Co., Texas.1 1 -
