Roger Arthur Dawes 
Roger Arthur was born in 1909.1 Roger Arthur's father was John Thomas Dawes and his mother was Johnnie Augusta Gause. His maternal grandparents were Edward A. Gause and Catherine N. Hall. He had two brothers and five sisters, named John Thomas, Jr., Johnnie Lee, Gladys, Edd Dorothy, Flora, Bettie and Katherine Neal. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 64 in 1973.1 General Notes
