Gladys Dawes

Gladys was born in 1892.¹ Gladys' father was John Thomas Dawes and her mother was Johnnie Augusta Gause. Her maternal grandparents were Edward A. Gause and Catherine N. Hall. She had three brothers and four sisters, named John Thomas, Jr., Johnnie Lee, Roger Arthur, Edd Dorothy, Flora, Bettie and Katherine Neal. She is the oldest of the eight children.
