James Cleveland 
James was born on July 2nd, 1762 in Culpeper Co., Virginia.1 James' father was Jacob, Sr. Cleveland and his mother was Mildred (Milly) White. His paternal grandparents are Jeremiah Cleveland and Wife Unknown. He had nine brothers and three sisters, named Jeremiah, Rice, Wyatt, William, John, Jacob, Jr., Reuben, Daniel, Larkin, Mary, Martha and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the thirteen children. He died in Ruckersville, Greene Co., Virginia.1 General Notes
