Leslie Bush was born on May 6th, 1905 in Melissa, Collin Co., Texas.1 Leslie Bush's father was James Levithian Basham and her mother was Bettie B. Shelton. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph C. Bassham and Mary J. Shelton. She had two brothers and a sister, named William Joseph, Thomas and Laverna Betty. She was the youngest of the four children. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Harold, Carl, Cecil, Clarence, Juanita, Alline and Evelyn. She died at the age of 1 on November 16th, 1906 in Melissa, Collin Co., Texas.1 General Notes
