James Levithian Basham 
James Levithian was born on April 15th, 1874 in Alabama.1 James Levithian's father was Joseph C. Bassham and his mother was Mary J. Shelton. His paternal grandparents were Levi Sampson Bassham and Sarah Smith. He had two brothers and a sister, named John W., Brian Smith and Anne Myrtle. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 83 on January 2nd, 1958 in Harris Co., Texas.1 General Notes
