William Joseph Bassham 
William Joseph was born on March 4th, 1900 in Texas.1 William Joseph's father was James Levithian Basham and his mother was Bettie B. Shelton. His paternal grandparents were Joseph C. Bassham and Mary J. Shelton. He had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas, Laverna Betty and Leslie Bush. He was the oldest of the four children. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Harold, Carl, Cecil, Clarence, Juanita, Alline and Evelyn. He died about 1979.1 General Notes
