Cecil Irving was born on August 25th, 1895 in Lawrence Co., Tennessee.1   Cecil Irving's father was James Richard Bassham and his mother was Louise Josephine (Lou) Rhodes.  His paternal grandparents were James Monroe, Jr. Bassham and Tempa Malinda Bassham. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Robert Clinton, Jay Felix, James Calvin, Ada Bell, Maryanna F., Ella May and Beulah Irene.  He was the third youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 53 on July 24th, 1949 in Moko, Fulton Co., Arkansas.1

‌Cecil Irving and Mary Ann were married in a religious ceremony on September 12th, 1917 in Hardy, Sharp Co., Arkansas.1   They had five sons named Earnest Benton (Twin), Forest Clinton (Twin), Grady Irving, Ella Mae (Twin) and Della Faye (Twin).


Cecil Irving's second family with Willie Mae Hamlett-fuller

‌Cecil Irving and Willie Mae were married in a religious ceremony on March 7th, 1926 in Moko, Fulton Co., Arkansas.1   They had two sons and three daughters, named Kenneth Delbert, Tracy Calvin, Living, Living and Living.
