George Washington Allen 
George Washington was born on October 9th, 1843 in Claiborne, Parish Co., Louisana.1 George Washington's father was John Calhoun Allen and his mother was Mary Ann Holcombe. His paternal grandfather was Hiram Allen and his paternal grandmother is Mary Ann Susanna Unknown. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Hiram George, John Birchfield, James D., Harmon Holcombe, Thomas Price, Mary Ann Elizabeth, Cassandra Ann and Martha. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 69 on February 17th, 1913 in Healdton, Carter Co., Oklahoma. He was buried in Mount Olive Cemetery.1 1 General Notes
