John Franklin Merrill 
John Franklin was born on August 10th, 1859 in Marion,WV. John Franklin's father was Burr Merrill and his mother was Malinda Morris. His maternal grandparents were Richard Morris and Susanna Stull. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Tazwell Cleone, Judson Carman, Lineas Leroy, Joseph Alvah, Richard E., Ann Judson, Myrtle, Caroline and Ida Eliza. He is the youngest of the ten children.-
