Richard was born on July 11th, 1784 in DE. Richard's father was Zadock Morris and his mother was Polly Ellen Evans. His paternal grandfather was Richard Morris and his paternal grandmother is Prudence Catt; his maternal grandparents were John Evans and Rebecca Ann Martin. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Lenfe, Clem, Ferdinand, Hannah, Catherine, Margaret, Fanny, Sallie and Sarah. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named William, Joseph, Ezekiel, Zadoc and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 84 on August 17th, 1868 in Marion,WV.-
