Peter was born about 1155 in Courtenay, Gatinais, Isle DE France, France.  Peter's father was Pierre Emperor Of Constantinople and his mother was Isabelle Elizabeth De Courtenay.  His paternal grandparents were Louis VI The Fat Capet King Of France and Alix Adelaide Countess Savoy; his maternal grandparents were Renaud Reginald De Courtenay and Hawise De Donjon. He had two sisters named Alix and Eustachia De.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died in Epirus, Byzantine Empire, Greece.
