Gisela Gille Countess was born about 1060 in Bourgogne, France.  Gisela Gille Countess' father was William I The Great Burgundy and her mother was Stephanie Etiennette De Longwy.  Her paternal grandparents were Renaud I Burgundy and Adelais Judith Normandy; her maternal grandparents were Adalbert III Count Longwy and Clemence De Foix. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Etienne I Tete Hardi De, Raimund Of, Ermentrude Of, Maud Matilda Sybil Of and Clemence Clementia Of.  She was the third oldest of the six children.  She died in 1133.
