Alix was born about 1160 in Courtenay, Loiret, OR, Galinois.  Alix's father was Pierre Emperor Of Constantinople and her mother was Isabelle Elizabeth De Courtenay.  Her paternal grandparents were Louis VI The Fat Capet King Of France and Alix Adelaide Countess Savoy; her maternal grandparents were Renaud Reginald De Courtenay and Hawise De Donjon. She had a brother and a sister, named Peter and Eustachia De.  She was the second oldest of the three children.  She died about September 14th, 1218 in Angouleme, Aquitaine, Charente, France.
