Madlyn was born on December 30th, 1900 in Portsmouth, Scioto, Ohio, USA.1 Madlyn's father was Thomas Jefferson Scott and her mother was Jennie Oberley. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas M. Scott and Elizabeth H. TAYLOR. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John Edward, Denver, Elton F., Vera, Genevieve and Bernice. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 69 on March 31st, 1970 in Portsmouth, Scioto, Ohio, USA. She was buried on April 2nd, 1970 in Memorial Burial Park, Wheelersburg, Scioto, Ohio.2 3 General Notes

Mrs. Earl FOEHR
Mrs. Madlyn FOEHR, 69, of 1707 Williams St., died at 5:45 a.m. today at Mercy Hospital.
The Portsmouth native was a former employee of Selby Shoe Co. and a member of Portsmouth Garden Club.
Surviving are her husband, Earl H. FOEHR; a son, George T. FOEHR of Albuquerque, N.M.; two brothers, John E. SCOTT, 1425 Linden Ave., and Elton F. SCOTT of Russell, Ky.; two sisters, Mrs. Gevevieve FLACK of McDermott Rt. 2, and Mrs. Vera GRASHEL, 1708 Jackson Ave., and one grandchild.
Servies are to be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday at Emrick-Scott Funeral Home, with Rev. Wallace Rummel officiating. Burial is to be in Memorial Burial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
