Jacob Frederick Harry was born on October 17th, 1880 in Clarington, Monroe, Ohio, U.S.A..1 Jacob Frederick Harry's father was Jacob Fohr and his mother was Lizzie. His paternal grandparents were George F. Foehr and Margaretha HAEHNCHEN; his maternal grandparents are Mr Foltz and Mrs Foltz. He had two brothers and three sisters, named George Peter, John Adam, Mary, Anna Margaret and Elizabeth Magdalena. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 73 on September 17th, 1954 in Columbus, Franklin, Ohio, USA. Harry F. FOEHR
Harry Frederick FOEHR, 73, former resident of Portsmouth, died Friday n St. Francis Hospital at Columbus following a serious illness.
Mr. FOEHR spent his youth in Portsmouth, and later moved to Columbus.
He was born in Clarington, Ohio, Oct. 17, 1880, a son of Jacob and Elizabeth FULTZ FOEHR, former West End residents.
Surviving are his wife, Ina; two sisters, Mrs. Frank BURLING of Norwood, and Mrs. Carl FUNK of Cincinnati, and several nieces and nephews. Three nephews - Earl and Harry FOEHR and William GOETZ - live here.
A brother, George FOEHR, died last November. The parents and a sister also preceded in death.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at Emrick Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert M. GOETZ, pastor of First Evangelical and Reformed Church, officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
