Eleanor was born about 1322 in Grismond Castle, Monmouthshire.  Eleanor's father was Henry PLANTAGENET and her mother was Maud DE CHAWORTH.  Her paternal grandparents were Edmund 1St Earl DE LANCASTER and Blanche (Queen) DE ARTOIS; her maternal grandparents were Patrick, Lord) De Chaworth (SIR and Isabel DE BEAUCHAMP. She had a brother and six sisters, named Henry "Of Grosmont", Maud Plantagenet, Maud Plantagenet, Maud "Of Lancaster", Joan, Mary and Joan Plantagenet.  She died in Arundel, Sussex.


Eleanor's first family with John DE BEAUMONT

‌Eleanor and John were married in a religious ceremony in 1339.  They had two sons named Henry* Lord and Henry.

‌Eleanor and Richard "Copped Hat" were married in a religious ceremony in Thames Ditton, Bucks., England.  They had four sons and three daughters, named Richard, John, John Fitz, Thomas, Joan, Alice Fitz and Alice.
