Eleanor PLANTAGENET 
Eleanor was born on June 17th, 1264 in Windsor Castle, Windsor, Berkshire, England. Eleanor's father was Edward PLANTAGENET and her mother was Eleanor DE CASTILE. Her paternal grandparents were UNKNOWN PLANTAGENET and Matilda UNKNOWN; her maternal grandparents were Ferdinand DE CASTILE and Johanna Of PONTHIEU. She had four brothers and ten sisters, named John, Henry, Alfonso, Edward, Julian Katherine, Joan, Margaret, Berengaria, Mary, Isabella, Alice, Elizabeth, Beatrice and Blanche. She was the oldest of the fifteen children. She died at the age of 33 on October 12th, 1297 in Ghent, Flanders. She was buried in Westminster Abbey, London, England.General Notes
