Susan Victoria was born on March 5th, 1870 in Cullers Run, Hardy, WV. Susan Victoria's father was James M. May and her mother was Catherine MOYER. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel May and Eve HARLESS; her maternal grandparents were Paulser MOYER and Sarah WHETZEL. She had six brothers and three sisters, named William Van Pearson, Henry B., James Franklin, Joseph Daniel, Robert Lee, Isaac Samuel, Sarah Elizabeth, Ann Rebecca and Mary Catherine. She was the third youngest of the ten children.-
