Joseph Daniel May 
Joseph Daniel was born on February 10th, 1866 in Mathias, Hardy, WV. Joseph Daniel's father was James M. May and his mother was Catherine MOYER. His paternal grandparents were Samuel May and Eve HARLESS; his maternal grandparents were Paulser MOYER and Sarah WHETZEL. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William Van Pearson, Henry B., James Franklin, Robert Lee, Isaac Samuel, Sarah Elizabeth, Ann Rebecca, Mary Catherine and Susan Victoria. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 53 on March 17th, 1919.-
