James M. May 
James M. was born on July 17th, 1833 in Mathias, Hardy, West Virginia. James M.'s father was Samuel May and his mother was Eve HARLESS. His paternal grandparents were George May and Martha Magdaline HUFFMAN (HOUGHMAN); his maternal grandparents were John HARLESS and Catherine Redsleeve. He was an only child. He died at the age of 67 on August 26th, 1900 in Mathias, Hardy, West Virginia.-
