Helen Agnes was born on November 17th, 1923. Helen Agnes' father was John Thomas Elliott and her mother was Ann Bodily Galbraith. Her maternal grandparents were William Layton Galbraith and Ann Elizabeth Bodily. She had four brothers and a sister, named John Budge, Gordon Thomas, Richard Bruce, Grant Edgar and Ann Lona. She was the second youngest of the six children.-
