Cornelius DUBOIS 
Cornelius was born on December 9th, 1707 in New Paltz, Ulster, New York. Cornelius' father was Solomon DUBOISE and his mother was Tryntis Barensten FOCKEN. His paternal grandparents were Louis DUBOISE and Catherine BLANCHAN or BLANCON; his maternal grandparents were Gerrit Gerritsen FOCKEN and Jacomyntje (Jacomueyntie Barentsen) SLECHT. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Isaac, Benjamin, Hendrikus, Jacomyntge, Catryn, Sarah, Catharine, Magdalena and Deborah. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 73 on March 30th, 1781 in Kingston, Ulster, Co., N.Y..General Notes
