Catherine's father was Matthys BLANCHAN or BLANCON and her mother was Magdalena JORISSE or JOIRE. She had a sister named Maria. She was the older of the two children. Solomon was born on February 3rd, 1669 in Kingston, Ulster, NY and his baptism took place on February 3rd, 1669 in Hurley, Ulster, NY. He died at the age of 90 on February 15th, 1759 in New Paltz, Ulster, NY. He was buried in Family Cemetery, Poughwoughtenonk, Dutchess, New York.
