William Mainwaring 
William was born about 1396 in Peover, Cheshire, England. William's father was Randle Mainwaring and his mother was Margery De Venables. His paternal grandparents were William Mainwaring and Elizabeth Leycester; his maternal grandparents were Sir Hugh de Venables and Margery Cotton. He had a brother and six sisters, named John, Clemence, Phillipa, Elizabeth, Cecily, Joan and Ellen. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He had a half-sister named Margery. He died before 1470.-
