John Mainwaring

John was born about 1440 in Over Peover, Carincham, Cheshire, England. John's father was William Mainwaring and his mother was Ellen Boteler. His paternal grandparents were Randle Mainwaring and Margery De Venables; his maternal grandparents were Sir John Boteler and Isabel Harrington. He had a brother and a sister, named Humphrey and Anne. He was the oldest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named George, Thomas, Elizabeth, Joan, Cecily, Ellen, Agnes, Margaret and Margery. He died on July 8th, 1495.
