Dhoude was born about 0800 in Aachen, Rhineland, Prussia.  Dhoude's father was Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne and her mother was mistress.  Her paternal grandparents were Pepin III 'the Short' and Lady Bertha Broadfoot. She had eight half-brothers and thirteen half-sisters, named Duke of Ingelheim, Pepin, Lothaire, Louis I, the Monk, Bishop of Metz, Abbot of Saint Quentin, Pepin "The, Bertha, Adelaide, Rotrude, Gisela, Hildegarde, Theodrade, Hiltrude, Adbelinda, Rothais, Aupais, Abbesse of Farmoutier, Adeltrude and Gertrude.  She died in 0844.
