Philiip V was born about 1286 in Paris, Isle de France, France.  Philiip V's father was Phillip IV "The Fair" Capet and his mother was Heiress of Navarre Jeanne.  His paternal grandparents were Philip III "The Bold" Capet and Isabella of Aragón; his maternal grandparents were Henry I 'The Fat' and Blanche d'Artois. He had two brothers and a sister, named Louis X, Charles IV and Isabella "The Fair".  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died in Longchamps, , France.  He was buried in Eglise Des Cordeliers, Paris, France.
