Earl  Robert de Mortaigne

Robert was born in 1031 in Mortaigne,Normandy.  Robert's father was Viscount Herlewine deConteville and his mother was Herleva de Falaise.  His maternal grandparents were Fulbert de Falaise Chamberlain and Doda Of Falaise. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Robert de, Robert, Robert, Emma, Oda (Eudes), Emma, Emma de, Emma and Muriel.  He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He had six half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Ralph Count of, William, Ralph, William, Baldwin, Baldwin, Adeliza, Adélaïde, AdbelahideDe, Adelaide and Adelaide.  He died at the age of 59 on December 8th, 1090.
