Mary de was born about 1253 in Helmsley Castle, North Ride, Yorkshire, England.  Mary de's father was Robert IV "1st Baron" de Ros , of Belvoir, Mp and her mother was Isabel de Albini , Heiress of Belvoir.  Her paternal grandparents were William I de Ros , Mp, Lord of Roos and Lucy FitzPiers; her maternal grandparents were William II de Albini , Lord of Belvoir and Isabel.  She was an only child.  She died before May 23rd, 1326.1
