Maud Montacute

Maud was born in 1307 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. Maud's father was William De Montagu and her mother was Elizabeth de Montfort. Her paternal grandparents were Sir. Simon De Montacute and Ausrick De Courci; her maternal grandparents were Baron John De Montfort and Alice De Plaunche. She had four brothers and five sisters, named John, William, Simon, Edward, Alice, Mary, Katherine, Hawise and Isabel. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Baldwin II De and Joan.
