Edward Montacute

Edward was born in 1309 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. Edward's father was William De Montagu and his mother was Elizabeth de Montfort. His paternal grandparents were Sir. Simon De Montacute and Ausrick De Courci; his maternal grandparents were Baron John De Montfort and Alice De Plaunche. He had three brothers and six sisters, named John, William, Simon, Maud, Alice, Mary, Katherine, Hawise and Isabel. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Baldwin II De and Joan. He died at the age of 33 in 1342.
