Hawise Montacute

Hawise was born in 1317 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. Hawise's father was William De Montagu and her mother was Elizabeth de Montfort. Her paternal grandparents were Sir. Simon De Montacute and Ausrick De Courci; her maternal grandparents were Baron John De Montfort and Alice De Plaunche. She had four brothers and five sisters, named John, William, Simon, Edward, Maud, Alice, Mary, Katherine and Isabel. She was the second youngest of the ten children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Baldwin II De and Joan.
