Maud Marshal 
Maud was born about 1192 in Pembroke, Pemb, Wales. Maud's father was Earl William of Pembroke Marshal and her mother was Isabel Clare. Her paternal grandparents were John Fitz Gilbert Marshall and Sibyl Devereux; her maternal grandparents were Earl Richard of Pembroke (Strongbow) Clare and Aoife (Eve) of Leinster. She had four sisters named Margaret Fitz Gilbert, Eva, Isabel and Sybil. She was the second oldest of the five children.General Notes
