Matilda Maud of was born in 1032 in Flanders, France.1   Matilda Maud of's father was Baudouin V Count Of Flanders and her mother was Princess Aelis Adele France.  Her paternal grandparents were Baudouin IV "Le Barbu", Count Of Flandres and Otgive de Luxembourg; her maternal grandparents were King Robert II France and Constance of Provence. She had two half-sisters named Matilda Countess Of Flanders Queen Of and le Bon.  She died at the age of 51 on November 3rd, 1083 in Caen, Calvados, France.  She was buried in Church of Holy Trinity, Caen.1
