Charles III of Franks, known as The simple, was born on September 17th, 0879 in , France.  The simple's father was Emperor Louis II (The stammerer) Hre and his mother was Ansgardeof Bourgogne.  His paternal grandparents were Emperor Lothair I Hre and Ermengardeof Tours; his maternal grandparents were Xt. Giraud of Porthois and Wandelgardeof Septimania. He had five sisters named Ermentrudeof Franks, Trungardeof France, Trungardeof France, Adelaideof France and Adelaideof France. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Berenger of Bayeaux, Berenger of Bayeaux, Ermengardeof Germany and Ermengardeof Germany.  He died at the age of 50 on October 7th, 0929 in Perone, Somme, France.


The simple's first family with Eadgifu (Edgina) of England

‌The simple and Eadgifu (Edgina) of England were married in a religious ceremony in 0918.  They had two sons named Transmarinus and Transmarinus.


The simple's second family with Frederuna of Hamalant

They had two daughters named Ermentrudeof France and Ermentrudeof France.
