King Pepin III of Franks (Le bref -The short) 
Pepin III of Franks, known as Le bref -The short, was born in 0714 in Jupille, Austrasia. Le bref -The short's father was King Charles Martel of Franks (The Hammer) and his mother was Rotrou or Chrotudeof Alammania. His paternal grandparents were Pepin of Heristal and Aupais; his maternal grandparents were Leutwinus of Treves and daughter of Chrodobertus. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Carloman of Franks, Bernhard of Italy, Audeof Austrasia and Audeof Austrasia. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Carloman of Austrasia, Carloman of Austrasia, Hieronumous Martel, Landradeof Austrasia and of France. He died at the age of 54 on September 18th, 0768 in Paris, France. He was buried on September 24th, 0768 in St. denis, France.General Notes
