Duke Arnulf of Metz

Arnulf of Metz was born on August 13th, 0582 in Metz, Moselle, France.  Arnulf of Metz's father was Gov Bodegeisel II of Cologne and his mother was Oda of Savoy.  His paternal grandmother was Palatina of Treves; his maternal grandfather was Duke of Savoy.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 58 on August 16th, 0640 in Remirmont, Vosges, France.

‌Arnulf of Metz and Doda (Clothilde)of Sachsen were married in a religious ceremony about 0596.  They had three sons named Ansgise of Austrasia, Walchiges of Verdun and Walchiges of Verdun.
