Lydia HOOPES 
Lydia was born on June 26th, 1785 in Goshen Twp., Chester, PA. Lydia's father was Nathan HOOPES and her mother was Ann SPEAKMAN. Her paternal grandparents were Nathan HOOPES and Margaret WILLIAMSON; her maternal grandparents were Thomas SPEAKMAN and Elizabeth UNDERWOOD. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named Elisha, Elijah, Moses, Amor or Emmor, Enos, Lewis, Sidney, Stephen, Susanna, Elizabeth Hannah, Ann and Margaret. She was the second youngest of the thirteen children. She died at just 7 days old on July 3rd, 1785 in Goshen Twp., Chester, PA.-
