Ann HOOPES 
Ann was born on April 14th, 1781 in Goshen Twp., Chester, PA. Ann's father was Nathan HOOPES and her mother was Ann SPEAKMAN. Her paternal grandparents were Nathan HOOPES and Margaret WILLIAMSON; her maternal grandparents were Thomas SPEAKMAN and Elizabeth UNDERWOOD. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named Elisha, Elijah, Moses, Amor or Emmor, Enos, Lewis, Sidney, Stephen, Susanna, Elizabeth Hannah, Margaret and Lydia. She was the fifth youngest of the thirteen children.-
