Gisele de was born about 1075 in of Vaudemont,Lorraine,France.  Gisele de's father was Gerhard III (IV) Duke of Lorraine and her mother was Hedwig of Namur.  Her paternal grandparents were Gerard II Metz and Gisela Alsace; her maternal grandparents were Adalbert (Albert) I Count of Namur and Ermengarde of Lorraine. She had two brothers and a sister, named Thierry II (Dietrich) Duc D' Alsace et, Gerhard I and Beatrice.  She was the second youngest of the four children.  She died in 1141.

‌Gisele de and Renaud I Count of were married in a religious ceremony in 1120 in <Of,Dampmartin,Ile DE France,France>.  They had a son and four daughters, named Renaud II Count of, Clemence Of, Etiennette De, Agnes De and Mathilde De.
